Sony's Playstation Secret

The ps4 and xbox both launched five years ago back in 2013 which means its a high time for a next gen console details to get thrown in the room now.

However these rumors don't come from some anonymous source claiming to have an access to xbox 720 dev kit, Instead the sony themselves who have ignited rumors regarding obviously title to playstation 5, On October the second sony published a patent ... or a patent.... whatever you wanna call it though they described us remastering emulation.

What does that mean this mean exactly ?

the patent involves a form of emulation that will replace textures from old games optimizing them for modern displays , That's right ... it appears that sony  are working on backwards compatibility something that xbox1 has had over the ps4 for sometime now .

The pattern also details the remastering of old titles won't just affect the textures but also the game's audio files.

Due to the timing of this pattern being published many have been quick to assume that this will be the technology that will show up in Playsation 5 , There is however a big gap between the date when this was published in October of this year and the date of when it was filed back in November 2016 .

It appears the way this patent works that it takes the textures that are already in the olden days and emulates them and changes them and makes them look like better . Very cool to tighten up those rag edges on those old games and make them look like 1080p as opposed to like the 240 or whatever the hell we had back in days .

So the fact that sony is working on this backwards compatibility by emulation thing they started this back in November 2016 , Will this is when the patent was filed so obviously they are working on the prior to that too.

This is some retaliation to Microsoft in the fact that they have got such a strong backwards  compatibility option , Are they doing it to compete for the next generation consoles? is there anything to do the next generation wasn't just they want to compete with Microsoft .

I don't think there is anything that can be gleaned from this and you can't make any assumptions to say that this is for the next generation of consoles , Maybe it is and maybe its not.
